Dress Code

Some of our events will have a specific dress code stated. For example, an event on Canada Day might ask everyone to wear red and white. Other events will not list a formal dress code. In either case please be sure your attire is appropriate. Here are a few things to think about when choosing what to wear:
  • Who is going to be there?

Our events always take place in public settings and often have young children participating, so whatever you decide on should not be too revealing.

  • What am I doing?

If it is a dance flash mob you will want to wear something comfortable that you can dance in. If you are going to be touching the ground you'll want to make sure you can get it dirty. This includes suitable footwear!

  • Where is the location?

Most people who bring a bag or purse will hold onto it or place it on the ground near them. We suggest you bring only what you need. If you must bring something valuable either hold onto it or have a friend come with you to hold it. It is not necessary to bring a camera as we will always have an event guide there to record it on video! After the event I will post the video on our blog.

  • When is the event planned for?

Rain, shine or snow, the event will always go on! This means you need to dress for the weather. When possible we will try to let you know in advance if it is indoor or outdoor.

  • How long is it going to be?

Usually we try to keep our events at around 3 minutes. We suggest you show up 15 minutes in advance. You should be prepared to stand, sit, etc. for approximately 20 minutes in total.
